What are the different types of waxes?

BIKINI LINE

This is the classic intimate wax which takes the hair just up to the panty line leaving a neat triangle. This is the perfect choice if you are new to intimate waxing.

EXTENDED BIKINI LINE

This is where the hair line is extended a little further inside the panty line leaving a smaller triangle shape.  This can also be extended along the top to create a smaller triangle if you wish.

BRAZILIAN

This is where a small strip is left at the front and the underneath and behind is completely removed.  Ideal for anyone who likes to wear a thong bikini.

HOLLYWOOD

This is where the hair is completely removed all over including underneath and behind

Does intimate waxing hurt?

Pain thresholds vary from person to person but you can be assured that you are in qualified hands with our therapists who have had extensive training and experience in intimate waxing.  Their job is to make the intimate waxing experience as quick and as painless as possible.  Also, the more you have it done, the thinner the hair will become which will make it easier as time goes on.

Do I need to do anything before my intimate wax?

The ideal hair length for intimate waxing is between 5-10mm in order for the wax to adhere so please do not shave the area before hand.

How long does an intimate wax take?

A standard bikini wax should take no more than 20 minutes and we allow 40 minutes for a Hollywood.

When long should I leave before my next intimate wax

You will need to leave around 4 weeks between intimate waxes to allow for hair growth – it is always best to book your next appointment while you are here to ensure that there is a slot available.

Will it be itchy or red afterwards?

Again this varies from person to person but your therapist will advise you of the necessary aftercare including any products to use to alleviate any redness or itching which may occur when the hair starts to grow back – this can be normal after your first few intimate waxes.
